My name is Lara and I am your local lice lady.
We are a family owned business located in Jupiter FL called The Lice Raiders. I began this lice eradicating adventure in 2015 out of desperation for an affordable, stress free and effective way to rid my children of head lice. I had tried everything! Rid, NIX, coca cola, mayo, listerine and the prescription meds. Nothing was working and I didn't understand why. I followed the directions on the kits, I cleaned every inch of my home and laundered every piece of fabric multiple times a week. I was stressed, tired and extremely frustrated.
Out of desperation I visited a local lice clinic. They managed to eradicate the critters but they were so darn expensive! Their process took HOURS to do (they charge by the hour). The employees were aggressive, unfriendly and I felt like they didn't care about me or my children, they just wanted my money. While I was sitting there sulking, I had an "A -HA" moment.

At that moment I decided that I would figure out this lice killing sorcery and I will share it with my community. I will be nice and understanding. My prices will not break the bank AND everyone will have a fun experience 😁
So I started studying these critters. I contacted scientists (entomologists) and researchers asking them questions and getting answers. Learned that:
Head lice are immune to those kits from the store. THEY DO NOT WORK
Head lice die quickly once removed from the hair.
Head lice absolutely can not live in your home, beds, couches, cars, etc. NO need for all that cleaning.
There is nothing that %100 kills lice eggs (nits) EXCEPT removing them from the hair.
The answer to complete eradication of head lice is all about removing every bug and every egg. Yes. Every bug and every sticky, tiny, camouflaged egg! If you leave anything behind, the infestation will never ever go away!
